Description

Been a long time since i done anything non-work-related... here is a picture inspired by the marvelous novels of Glen Cook 'the Black Company'.
I was going to make a picture of just 'One-eye' the little wizzard and i got carried away :)
Photoshop... many hours... too many hours in fact...

...however, the hours paid off because this is a great piece. Though, I feel the colours are just a tad too monotonous for my taste but otherwise, nice work :)

i love the colors, feels like a 3d render with the "white, grey" color.
except its drawn. feels like a good companionship.
keep the skill alive.

That coulb be an amazing scene because the caracters, the positions and the poses are great! I have to agrre with Jounis as concern the colours. You have work too hard for the fellowship and you have left the background to be poor. Why?
Anyway I see the work you have done and i like it...Bravo!

Thx for the comments.

Colour was a dilemna for me in this one because i wanted the whole scene to be tinted by the sunlight and the reflected light by snow. I was unable to decide what proprortion of colour should come from the object itself so it ended up quite 'monotonous' indeed...

Agios, as far as background is concerned i have to admit that it's pure lazyness that made me let it stay like this. I may update it in a near future but i have so much others idea i want to work on :)

Actually I like this, despite (or perhaps because of) its muted colours. Besides, it is not just bright colours that are allowed in our palette, right? It's all a matter of mood. :)
